Irene Dorgan lived here at Bayridge while she was obtaining her masters in music at the New England Conservatory. After a few years of teaching music and working in music publishing, Irene began dedicating herself full time to her passion: fostering development and leadership in young women. She has held a number of positions, including director of Petawa Residence in Milwaukee, WI; director of Alderton House in New York City; and director of Rosedale Achievement Center in the Bronx, NY. Then, in 2003, she returned to her beloved “home away from home” and has been the director ever since. She enjoys organizing jam session with the musically-inclined residents and has a special love for book clubs and discussion-worthy movies.

Angela Lee graduated from Wellesley College in 2013 with a B.A. in History and was a friend of Bayridge during her undergraduate years. Before working at Bayridge, she was at the New York District Attorney’s Office, where she gained valuable experience in the public sector. Although her work at Bayridge now is far from criminal law, she enjoys the diversity of her tasks and the people she encounters within and outside of Bayridge. Among many of the weeknight study breaks, Angela enjoys learning about the different countries and cultures where the residents are from, and on the weekends, she likes to keep up with her favorite college football team.
